Game 2, Angels bats come alive as they score 10 runs with the help of homers by Enarcacion and Schwarber. Martinez and Aguilar homer for the Tigers in this 10-4 shellacking. Win Keuchel, loss Cahill, injury Mercer ROG.

Game 3, Kendrick's solo shot in the second puts the Tigers up until the Angel scrape together two runs in the 7th thanks to a Moustakas 2-rbi double. Tigers answer in the bottom of the inning with two runs of their own and hold on to win 3-2. Win Fields, Save Moronta, Loss Chacin.

Game 4, Tigers strike first with a McNeil solo shot in the first. They add another run in the fourth before the Angels' Schwarber hits a solo shot to break the shutout. Tigers post 2 in the bottom of the inning to make it 4-1. Angels plate one in the fifth and sixth innings to pull within 1 run before the Tigers bat around in the seventh inning. Final Tigers win 9-3. Win Yamamoto, Loss Shields, Injury-Shields 1 series, Neuman ROS.

Game 5, it is all Tigers as they bat around in the first and almost bat around in the second. Garver's second inning 3-run homer completes the scoring as neither team scores for the rest of the game, Tigers win 9-0. CG shutout win Williams. Loss Eflin.
