G3 Mets 5 Cubs 1 Jake Bauers singled home a pair of runs to put the Mets on the board and Jack Flaherty fired six shutout innings.

Alcantara vs Flaherty, W Flaherty, L Alcantara

G4 Mets 5, Cubs 4 Cubbies took the early lead on a Giancarlo Stanton home run but Byron Buxton answered with an RBI double in the 2nd. Cameron Maybin's pinch double in the 5th put the Cubs back on top. Alex Bregman drilled a bases clearing double in the 7th to put the Metropolitans ahead for good.

G5 Mets 3, Cubs 1 Cubs again took the early lead but Aaron Nola stifled them for the next 7 innings. Merrifield cracked a two run homer in the 5th to propel the Mets to the series sweep.
